First uninstall systemworks to see if the pc shuts down without ant help
from norton's. If the machine behaves as it should do and you have no
unexpected shutdowns then, as usual, nortons is to blame.
Personally speaking Norton's software causes more trouble than it solves. If
yuo want an antivirus applciation download the free version of avg anti
virus and install that
