I've had this problem for a couple of days now. My computer often randomly
restarts but when it restarts it loads the bios screen then i get no signal
on my screen. The CPU is still running and all lights are on but i get no
display. I have to restart 4 or 5 times to get to the OS. First i thought it
was a hardware problem but i tried booting to safe mode and i get no problems
there. The display is fine and the computer doesn't restart on its own
anymore. So i figure it's a software issue. I have downloaded the latest
drivers to try them out but they haven't solved it. i haven't installed any
hardware or software recently. Any thoughts would be appreciated and i want
to know if it is necessarily a problem with the video card drivers

Was that latest drivers from manufacturers sites or winupdate?

It eventually turned out to be my power supply. Just changed it and
everything was back to normal. Thanks for all help
