automatic reboot of XP Home edition

      29th Aug 2003
when I turn on the PC it boots to the welcome screen then
shuts down and reboots over and over again. I cannot get
to a full windows screen. Please advise, this is
frustrating.

Hi Rebecca,

Please try to reboot your computer into safe mode, and
then use msconfig to do a clean boot to narrow down the
problem.
