Hi,

Our clients comes preinstalled with IE5 (the version that shippes with W2K),
and we upgrade them to v6 (msi via logonscript).

Last Thursday however, some (around a handfull) of users reported problems,
and as it turned out, their version of IE was suddenly back to 5... No
indication as to how, who or why.

For a few others, the version number was omitted when checking Help|About...
The label was still there ("Version:"), but no version number was visible.
For some of these cases a reboot was enough, for others a new upgrade of IE
was required.

Has anyone experienced something like this?
Any suggestions as to what can cause this?

Sincerely
Robert Leithe
