John,
I'm working on an application that will allow your web visitors to ask
questions via voice/video as they browse your website, the users don't need
to download any clients etc as it uses macromedia communications server.
The only problem is that it relies on external software (macromedia
communications server) and a license for 10 seats is $US450 so the total
cost including server is about $2k (you can provide the server if you choose
which reduces the cost), the other problem is that it requires you to have a
good broadband connection to the people answering the questions (either in
your office or externally outsourced and situated elsewhere).
Cheers,
Dean
