Automatic Deletion of Email

If you have is chosen in your options your email will be marked read after it
has been highlighted for so many seconds. Well, mine just completely deletes
and it does not allow me to find it in the trash either and so I am losing
all of my emails. I really need help fixing this.

Not possible. I suspect you have filtered your view to show only unread
messages. Hence, once they are marked as read, you no longer see them.
Outlook is doing what you told it to.
