I've got windows defender set to run a quick scan daily, but it never does
(OS is windows vista). In the windows task scheduler the defender task
doesn't even show up (not even when I click show hidden tasks). Manual
scanning does work normally.
I've read a few things about a program called MsMpEng.exe, which should run
the defender tasks. Should I be able to see this file in the \program
files\windows defender map? I can't seem to find it in that folder or in the
windows task manager.
Can anyone say what might be wrong and how to solve it?
