this is a query relateed to winxp .the laptop
automatically shuts down after 60sec giving the error that
rpc services unavailable.

pls reply a solution for the same

This sounds as though you have been affected by the sobig
virus which automatically shuts your PC down after a few
minutes. Got to symantec.com and get the fix for remove
this virus.
