Hi,
Is there a way to automate an action without using task manager?

One of my users is havng printing problems and i wanted to put something on
her desktop which when clicked would restart her print spooler for her.

So in essence, when this desktop icon was clicked it would go to the My
computer properties-services-print spooler- and initiate the restart.

Thank You for any help with this.
Matt

Just set the printer spooler service to Automatic. Is the RPC service
started? You need that to run the print spooler service.

I've never needed to use this but you might want to take a look
at the batch file provided by Pegasus, MS-MVP.
