I want to autoforward email from a specific sender using rules (which I know
how to do). However, every time it autoforwards, I want to add a constant
message of my own to be sent with it. Is this possible using Rules in
Outlook 2003?

It is if you either write a script or custom action (in a DLL, as I recall),
but it isn't an 'out of the box' option.

But, I have to ask. If it's the same text added to every message, why do
you need to add it every time?

Thanks for your reply.

In answer to your question: It's a weekly eletter from a sattelite
broadcasting network (Leadership training) we subscribe to which I send to
staff. Along with the broadcast schedule it contains articles and links to
resources. I want to add the message: "Please place orders for taping
broadcasts all at once through our monthly process, not by replying to this
email."

Since I'm not familiar with writing script, I'll forward it manually and add
the message.

Out of curiousity, is it an Exchange environment? If it is, why not set up
a distribution list and subscribe the distribution list to that newsletter?
Cut out the middle-woman, as it were?

Good idea -- it is an Exchange environment. That may help -- at least make
it less automatic to reply to me.
