AutoFill Feature in Datasheet View

I am new to Access 2003 and noticed as I type in a number in a field in
Datasheet View and move down to the next record, Access is recognizing a
sequence and fills in the field automatically. I type 1,2 and Access fills
with a 3. Can really get me in trouble if I don't watch every move. HOW DO
I SUPPRESS THIS FEATURE? Anyone.

You can't suppress this feature by using the datasheet view in a
table.

We suggest using a form instead.

This misfeature has been in Access since A2000, over the repeated and
vehement objections of a lot of folks. You can't turn it off in
datasheets.

Consider using a Continuous Form. That's the only solution I know!

Same thing. Don't use the datasheet view of a form. Use the Form
View instead.

I *think* this misfeature has finally been removed in 2007.
