Can't do it.

What problem would it solve for you if you could do this?
Maybe there's a different solution.

We use powerpoint in our church. We also record the sermon via the same PC.
The trick is to have someone who is controlling the presentation with
nothing more then a Forward Arrow to start and stop the recording. When the
show gets to a certain slide ie "Todays Sermon Title" I want to execute a
script to start the recording. I also want to end the recording when the show
is over.

I can start a macro that dimensions a with event so that I can see if the
proper slide is being displayed so that I can then trigger the recording.

The deal is that the individual running the show may not have the skills and
or there may be an individual unfamiliar with this macro that would prevent
us from recording correctly.

I'm trying to make this a no brainer.
Ideally if the recording works properly their would then be little or no
editing required to then post this on the web.

I've heard about the Auto-Event addin but it does not want to load in my
powerpoint.
I'm running version 2002 or XP.

I'm very familiar with access and VBA programming but this is my first stab
at PowerPoint
