I have created several protected forms for our transcriptionists using form
fields. However, spell check, autocorrect, and autotext don't work in the
fields. I found the macro for the spell check, but how do you turn on
autocorrect and autotext?

Autocorrect and AutoText will work for more recent versions of Word. You don't
mention which your transcriptionists are using...

Thank you, but I already figured that part out. I am interested in turning
on the AutoCorrect and AutoText options within the protected form fields.

Hi Kassie,

OK... As I mentioned, they should work in Word 2003 form fields. Does the
information in these articles apply to the problems you're seeing with
AutoCorrect?

http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;291538

Could you explain in more detail HOW the features aren't working for you?

Yes and No. I'm talking about things like fractions and smart quotes - the
AutoFormat function. Ok, I guess I need to re-phrase my question. How do I
turn on AutoFormat in protected form fields? Sorry.
