Autocomplete does not work



Hi all

I got a strange problem with IE 7. I lost the functionality which stores
passwords and also the history.I believe it is known as Autocomplete. It is
selected in Internet Options however IE does not prompt to save passwords
anymore and also the history of the data inputted in forms does not come up.

I was told a registry tweak is possible, can you help?
