i've been using outlook 2003 for a long time on the same computer and
Autocomplete would work fineuntil recently . for a couple of month, the
autocomplete memory has been clearing itself completely without reason
although the box "suggest names etc" is ticked.

this now happens regularly, every 2 or 3 weeks. each time i have to retype
all the addresses or use contact address book and it keeps memory of the
names for a few weeks but then deletes it. it's the 4th or 5th time it has
happened in two months.

i've looked in forums and saw a mention this nk2 file. i've tried to locate
it but can't find one even if i tick "show hidden file".

i'm not too sure why the autocomplete memory clears itself completely every
other week without reason - could someone help?

Have you tried a new mail profile? Are you using roaming Windows profiles?

Open Windows Explorer and enter

%AppData%\Microsoft\Outlook

in the Address bar. Click Go. If you get any recall at all, it must exist
there.

Does it clear when you close Outlook?
