Does anyone know where the log for the autocomplete web address feature is
stored? I have cleared my history and cleared my forms but every time I type
www. in the address bar, a previously viewed web address keeps popping up.

Unable to delete AutoComplete entries

When you are unable to delete the AutoComplete entries after selecting:
Clear Forms
Internet Options | Content [tab] | AutoComplete [button] | Clear Forms
[button]

Use the above method to delete the History folder as the AutoComplete
entries are actually stored in the hidden History\index.dat file. [more
info] (also applies to IE 6)

DelTypedURL [right-click and select: Save Target As]

Removes the URL's from the Address Bar drop-down list without deleting the
Internet Explorer History. To use: right-click and select: Install
Note: this does not remove entries entered via AutoComplete

Hi,
These URLs are in the index.dat file in the History folder.
Free History Eraser from
http://smartprotector.com/eraser/fre...ory-eraser.htm will delete the
History folder (and the index.dat file) and a new one will be created when
you restart.
Or the History folder can be deleted manually:
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm
