autocheck error and missing partition....help!!

After installing a new version of Norton Internet Security and Ghost system
crashed, and I got the dreaded "autochk program not found" error on
rebooting, which would stay for a few mins and reboot again.

Managed to solve that by changing hex# with ptedit to 07, but my partition D
seems to have vanished. Partition Magic is showing the drive to be 160gb,
only 50 on C, and I don't seem to be able to see the rest.

Getting desperate now, any help greatly appreciated...
