Have a pc that when is shut off (main power is shut off to it) Automatically
starts up at 1:00 am will restart itself. This computer is hooked up to a
cable internet modem. Have looked up under control panel for automatic
updates which, are all disabled. Also nothing found in any error reporting.
Have no idea what could be causing this " ghost in the machine". Help!

Look in the Bios for a 'wake up' setting
Or disconnect the mains lead
