Hello folks, I work a lot off line and prefer Norton and Zone Alarm to be
off at those times. When I go online I of course want them on. I frequently
forget to activate them and thus leave my system open to invasion. Is there
a way to auto activate whenever I go online.

Thanks

I expect you can do this by writing a batch file.

Dear Whoclm,

I have not found information on limiting these utilities to start only with
an Internet connection launch. Here is the support information for Norton:

http://www.symantec.com/techsupp/

Here is the support site for Zone Lab's Zone Alarm:

http://www.zonelabs.com/store/conten...rt/zapMain.jsp

Hope this helps get you started.
