Hello,

After I upgraded to Windows XP from Windows 98, my computer wouldn't turn
itself off anymore. I shuts down but then I have to hold the button 4 seconds
to turn off the computer.
How can I solve this problem?

Hi,

It seemed that the old Win 98 drivers caused the problems.
I would suggest you to update all the chipset drivers and the drivers for
the vedio card and sound card. If you have on-board lan and PCI modem,
update the drivers as well.

Hi Peter

The Win 9x drivers could very well be the problem. They are in a lot of
cases of an upgrade.
