I tried that as well but have not had 1 answer. I believe i have found a work
around though. if you change your view to cards then back to list you can
make the function work again. i also have found that the loss of the function
has to do with going online and offline. i would assume since this just
started hapenning to several machines here in the office that there was a
microsoft update that did something either to sql server or to outlook or
possibly vista since no xp machines have experienced this problem yet.
hopefully microsoft knows what happened and fixes it on the next update. but
for now we at least found a work around this morning. thanks for all you
help. also do you know even what that feature is called. i have been trying
to find it in help and can not find anything about it. i looked at auto sort,
search, quick search, typing search, quick find, ect with out anything.
