auto run not working

      17th Dec 2003
for some reason(propably something i did but don't
remember)my cdrom's no longer auto run.
help and support center says to click on the cdrom branch
in system device manager and make a change in the
settings tab.
there is no settings tab when i look at them in the
device manager.
what can i do?

In Windows Explorer, right-click the CD drive, click PROPERTIES|AUTO PLAY
tab, and make your choices.

regedit>HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>System>CurrentCcontrolSet>Servic
es>Cdrom. Set autorun to 1
