I have a creative Nomad jukebox 2 . when trying to install the software.
An error pops up saying the autorun utility has encountered a problem and
needs to close. i have rebooted and used sytem restore neither worked

the event error log shows
Application Fail ure ctrun.exe 3.2.1.0 in ntdll. dll 5.1. 2600.218 0 at
offset 0000030e..

Your Nomad jukebox2 requires a fast USB 2.0 port, are you connecting it
to a USB 1.1 port? You can check your ports in Device Manager under the
Control Panel/System. If you are using a 2.0 port, plug it in while in
shutdown
state and then boot. XP's plug&play feature should state that new hardware
was found and ask you if you want to install it. Then it will start the
installation
process and may ask you for the installation disk.

that might be a OS compatability issue !
