Auto Run CDs and DVDs in Windows XP

I can not get CDs and DVDs to auto start when inserted.
I have tried to change the configuration of the Device
Manager but can not locate settings for my cd rom drive.

Click Start, click My Computer, right click on the cd,cdrw,or dvd drive icon
, click Properties, click Autoplay tab and you can set autoplay functions
for each different media types.

Hi Jerry,

There is a file here, that when run, will reset the autoplay defaults for
you:
