Hi
How do I get rid of the boxes on the right of the page that tell me what has
been deleated afte using auto replace?

You have Track Changes enabled. First, to get rid of the boxes, you need to
Accept All Changes, then you need to toggle off the Track Changes option.
Both commands are on the Reviewing Toolbar.
