I installed recently a few new pc's (Windows XP SP2), and they are
really annoyed with this auto refresh in Windows. When they want to
search in a folder that contains more thanb 100 eps or tiff files they
receive for several seconds a blank screen and then the window goes
back to the beginning of the folder.

Does anybody know how to solve that problem.

Joe,

I changed the registry values explained in topic "Prevent Automatic
Folder and Icon Refresh" but that doesn't solve my problem. So I
changed the values written on the website "Increase Folder View Size
Limit to 8000".
That helped for one user. But the other one's have still the same
problem.

Anybody an idea.
