auto login with passwordless username help in XP Pro SP2

Hi, i was wondering how to get my XP Pro SP2 copy to login automatically
when there is only one user setup on the system and there is no password.

It only happened when i managed to get the computer online for a while and
got all the windows updates, i'm not sure if that would be related to the
problem but thought i should mention it

any help will be muchly appreciated,

This probably happened because you installed .Net 1.1. If you go back to
Windows Update and install .Net 1.1 Service Pack, that will solve the
issue. And/or see:
