I try to enable the option "Auto-Install this application by file extension
activation", but in the property of Software Installation there's no choice
in the listbox. What is the way to add extensions in that list and to
associate them with a default program?

This is done within the MSI package itself. The package will contain
extension registrations that get triggered when you select that option.
