Hello,

I have some huger image galleries stored on my computer and I would
like to let Windows automatically generate the thumbs.db for each
folder at once instead of manually selecting each folder and wait 5
minutes until the thumbs.db is created completely.

Does anyone know the system call beyond, so if there won't be a
program I could develop one or a batch script by myself.

Well, well Windows should auto-make thumbs.db, But check your folder setting

It does of course for the current folder I am browsing in. But it does
of course not for all the other hundreds of folders automatically so I
have to wait in every folder so that the thumbing is finished.

Until the folder is accessed there is no reason to cache the thumbnails.
