I can't find where to set auto fill for when typing a persons name into the
address space, so it completes the address from the persons name that I put
in.

Also I think it maybe deleting emails that are only two days old, can anyone
point me in the right direction to change the settings.

Thanks

TOOLS / OPTIONS / on the PREFERENCES tab: E-MAIL OPTIONS / ADVANCED E-MAIL
OPTIONS / checkmark: "Suggest names while completing To, CC, Bcc fields"

The data is saved in *.NK2 file in your profile (c:\documents and
settings\USERNAME\Application data\microsoft\outlook)

You have to type in the data once and outlook will autocomplete it next time.
If you have erratic data in the autocomplete list, select it with the
arrowkeys in the proposed list and delete it from there

Thanks Aligator,

That worked I hadn't even noticed the advanced email option, now I'm going
to look for the NK2 file and see whats there.

You'll need a tool to read its contents. It's not a text file.
