Auto expand of list/XML table 2003 vs 2007

's Computer Specifications

In Excel 2003 the XML list would show an * at the last row. When this was
selected and someting was inserted (either by assigning values or pasting)
the table would automatically expand

In 2007 I do not see the * and it also doesn't auto expand anymore... any
ideas

Another attempt to get a solution, is this just the new way or is there a
setting I can change to get the old behaviour....anybody
