I just got a new computer and reloaded my Office XP. The function to
auto-expand new email messages is now not working. I have rules set-up to
move a specific email from a recipient to their folder but unless I manually
expand all folders I do not know someone has sent me email.
Any ideas?

Office XP is not completely compatible with Vista. You need to upgrade or
endure limited functions.

Did you install all the updates for office xp? If I recall correctly, that
feature was added by an update (then broken by one, fixed by another ).

Note that if the new computer runs Vista, you will have issues with Outlook.
To the best of my knowledge, this is not one of the issues though. See
