A profile is the collection of settings Outlook needs so that it can connect
to your mail server(s), connect to your data, and present your other user
configurable options, like email editor, signatures, views etc. (including
whether you want to use autocompletion).
You cannot run Outlook until you create a profile. Your profile has become
damaged and cannot connect to your autocompletion cache. That's why you need
a new one.
