Autocomplete isn't part of your contact list. If you're on a new PC, that
would explain why it's not working. If you or your network person still has
access to the old PC, have them copy your NK2 file over to your new PC.

I just got a new computer here at work, my new machine has Vist
Business and I still have Outlook 2007. Why doesn't my Outlook Aut
Complete my recipients' names anymore? On my old machine, as I starte
typing the recipient's name the system would provide a listing o
probable contacts.

I am sure it's a setting that I don't know about.

thanks, denn

Hi,
re: how can i get all contacts to auto fill in the TO field.
I have a similar problem. Recently, when I type a name (which is in my
contacts) into the TO field, it doesn't auto comlete. Even if i create an
email FROM the contact, then right click on that person in the TO box and
select "look up contact", it says it "cannot find..." hmmm... Why is this
happening for some of my newer contact adds, and how can i get all contacts
to auto fill in the TO field?? I know nothing about how to copy the NK2
file if this is the issue. Thanks for your help. Rebec
:-)
