I have imported my address list from OE6 on my old computer, and find that
only some of the names complete automatically (and yes.. the option is
switched on!) any ideas please? Is there for instance an index that needs
updating? I have compared the names which work with some that don't and there
appears to be no reason for the difference.

it has been said that it takes 1 or 2 emails to each address before the auto complete works completely.

I have tried everything. Typing the first three letters, sending a few to
the address and I find that sometimes auto fil works for a few of them and
other times it doesn't. It is a pain trying to send emails to numerous
people when you have to keep bringing up the contact list. Even if the
contact list were visible when typing an email it would help.
Sure wish I had Outlook Express back.
