First off, I am using Microsoft Exchange. And I am logging off my profile
every time I leave for the night.

What seems to be happening, is that Outlook 2007 only sometimes remembers
names and suggests them when typing a new email and sometimes doesn't. I've
read quite a few of the other questions surrounding this, and no one seems to
answer this.

Basically, it seems to remember them and then immediately forget them. I
can't tell if it's only every time I log on and off my machine, but I don't
think so.

One day it remembers an email just fine, and then the next day it's
forgotten it. I have the feature turned on, because sometimes it does
suggest, it's just that it seems erratic in what emails it remembers.

Please help!!

it's fairly common for outlook to forget the names - the cache is written
when outlook closes and if it doesn't close right the names aren't written
to the cache. After you close outlook check in tasks manager, processes tab
and see if outlook.exe is still running.

http://www.slipstick.com/problems/nicknamecache.asp - see 'nickname cache is
empty' section.
