I use MS Outlook 2003 (11.8217.8221) SP3 part of MS Office professional
edition 2003 with Windows XP professional version 2002 SP3.
I would like to export my email addresses found in the auto-complete name
list, I presume the file containing these email addresses is with the name.nk2
(see “Copy the names in AutoComplete to another computer”
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ou...394511033.aspx)

Kindly can anyone advise me:-
- If this is the correct file in question,
- How can I export this file to an excel, access or csv, etc file format and
- How can I import this file into my actual email contact address book

Hi George,

Personally I have never exported it, you can get some help from
http://code.google.com/p/debunk2/wiki/fileformat.

If you wish to use the same list of name in another machine then you can
copy the present NK2 file and overwrite the file in the new location. Then
when you use outlook it will automatically start pulling name from your NK2
file.

Hey George,

Got some thing for you:

There are two utilities we know that can read NK2 files. The first one is a
free beta program called NK2INFO. Link: http://www.nk2.info/ (Previously,
called NK2CSV.) This program allows you to read your NK2 entries and export
any or all the records to a CSV file which could be used to import back into
Outlook or another address book. However, you can't use the program to make
direct edits to the NK2 file.

You can visit link:
http://www.timeatlas.com/mos/Email/O..._AutoComplete/

Hi Russ,
Pls can you advise:-
1. How can you added other nk2 into main nk2 file (combining/merging 2 files
into a master file)?
2. How can you convert an edited cvs (Nk2) file back into main nk2 file?
