Auto-complete of e-mail addresses on new computer

I just changed to a new laptop from one I used for three years.

Of course Outlook on my old machine was able to auto complete hundreds of
e-mail addresses after I typed the first letter or two.

There must be a file on my old laptop containing that information. What is
that file and is it possible to move it to the new laptop?

TIA

Thank you for the reply. I assume I just do a search on the old computer,
copy that file and replace the existing NK2 file on the new computer?

Thanks.

You should be able to do that, provided Outlook is closed and you name the
old file to match the name of the new file. The file name must match the
existing mail profile name. The NK2 file is in the (hidden) folder
%AppData%\Microsoft\Outlook. For Windows XP that's C:\Documents and
Settings\{user}\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook. For Vista, it's
C:\Users\{user}\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Outlook.

The NK2 file on the new machine started off empty and was being populated as
you sent messages. That's why you don't see as much information when you
begin typing.
