Recently, auto complete stopped saving new entries for me, and would only
prompt me with older ones. So I went and cleared all my entries and started
again so that more up-to-date entries would be saved. This worked for about
2-3 weeks and now auto complete does not work at all even though I have it
turned on in options? Is there a bug?

More likely you have turned off auto completion or you are running out
of disk space. Imagine you need to work on a different PC, you need to
do this all over again. Save your frustration. Please check out
ipGuardian to see if it is suitable to you.
