For some reason the auto complete date stopped working. I used to be able to
type janu...hit enter then space then enter and I'd have the full date.
First auto complete would auto fill the month then I would hit space and the
rest of the date would fill....And now it only auto fills the Month. Why did
this all of the sudden stop working. We tried on my coworkers pc and the
same thing happened. We have Office 2003 with most recent updates on XP sp2.

Try check the "Show AutoComplete Suggestions" box in Insert || Auto Text ||
Auto Text.

Already checked thanks though. None of my settings have changed since it
used to work. As far as I can tell it stopped working since the new year.

The only work around I have found for this problem is after you hit enter to
complete the month, hit space, backspace, space. then the complete date
appears. A pain, yes, but this is the solution I have found so far.
