how to auto change text color as tasks get closer to due dates.

When using task is there a way to have the text color auto change as the due
date nears?

I don't think that's possible, unless you can do it with VBA code you write
yourself.

Yes, you can use Conditional Formatting in the view to change the font color
if the due date is in the next week. Probably other options also but I just
tried that specific option now. Check the settings for the view you're using
of the Tasks folder

How do you find that? I looked at Tools>Organize while in the Tasks folder
and there is no "Using Colors" like there is in a mail folder.

The View settings are here (if I remember OL2007 menus... using OL2010 for
while): View menu > Current View > Customize current view > Automatic
Formatting

Ah, right. Your choices on lead time are fairly limited, but that does work.
