So, I've managed to put together an unattended install of
Win2k pro that has SP4 slipsteamed into it, All the PnP
drivers I need included in the OEMPreInstall and even
slices the HDD into 'SYSTEM' and 'APPS' partitions. The
only problem is that I want the 'APPS' partition to be
assigned to drive letter D:\, and I want letters E:\
through O:\ left free for network drives - so ideally I
want the CD-ROM re-assigned to driver letter R:\
I know that this can be done through the Disk Management
section of the Computer Management snap in, and I've even
managed to track down the registry keys that the
information is stored in but I can't figure out how to
automate this procedure.
Does anyone out there know of a way that I can either:
a) Include driver letter assignment in an unattended
install or,
b) Script the operation and have it run first thing post
install
Thanks
