I have a user that setup Auto Archive on a folder to delete anything over 1
day old. He still has things over several months old in the folder. I checked
the Modify date and only the things placed in the folder today have todays
date. everythig else is at least a day old or older on the modifiy date.

I set up some test folders in My outlook and dragged files in that picked up
the date they were dragged in as the modify date. I waited more that one day
and they still haven't been deleted. Their modify data is 2 days ago.
I also setup the field chooser to display the Expires colum. they all say
"None". Can this have anythig to do with it?

Thanks

Steve

No, that is a completely different field. Note that setting to delete
everything over 1 day old is not the same as setting to run AutoArchive
every day.

The issue with your user probably is a mailbox corruption but it is hard to
say at this level of details.

Auto Archive is set to run every day.
We changed it from delete to standard archaive and an Archive folder got
created and the data archived to it but it just won't delete.
We're trying some other settings.
