A Norton scan found a virus in file c:\windows\system32
\authz.exe and deleted the file after failing to fix it.
Was the file part of the Windows program infected with
the virus? If so, what did I lose? Should I get a good
copy of the file back to the program?

I was hoping the file itself was a virus and should be
deleted for good.
