This may be a newbie question for some of you but here goes anyways.
I have two domain controllers and all of my clients are either Win2K Pro or XP Pro.
Because we'll NEVER use any wireless networking do I really need to use 802.1x for authentication
I know it says "wired or wireless" when your looking at the "Authentication Tab" under your network settings but I thought the whole point of 802.1x was wireless networking security. What are the correct settings if your never going to use any wireless networking equipment?

Currently the .1x functionality is embedded into WZCSVC module,
even if it isn't used for it's original purpose. In order to use .1x, this service should be running.
