Hi,

How can I use authentication with Work Groups and not Domains. What is the
configuration (in Web.config and IIS) to work with this?

Basically I have a webapplication that use WindowsIdentity to login in my
clients. Recently one of this clients change server and will be working with
work group and not domai. Passing the WebApp to this the Login & Password
windows dialog keeps always appear. How can I avoid this? What is the right
configuration of authenthication working with Work Groups?
In this case the client OS server is a Windows 2003 with IIS 6.0.

Thanks in advance.

you can still use a local user account

MACHINENAME\username
password

I would reccomend moving to mySql / Php.. once you've left domains the
windows world has NO BENEFIT

Boas,

Que tipo de base de dados/dominio quer usar para fazer a autenticação? O
grupo de utilizadores que quer usar para a autenticação, é de que tipo? Está
em alguma base de dados?
