I need to get my machine to connect to my employer's Exchange Server via a
VPN client. I have installed the VPN client and I'm able to view network
shares and so on. However, when I try launching Outlook, I'm able to check
my name with the database but the credentials (username and password) are
continuously asked for. No matter what I enter (even Administrator
passwords), I can't get through.

The best part about this is that I had this issue before I reformatted my
computer. I don't remember what I did to resolve the issue but it was
something really simple to change and everything worked beautifully. I have
Googled this issue and have seen plenty of questions regarding the same issue
but nobody seems to have any fixes. Remind me to take notes when I get this
working.

Any help with this issue would be appreciated. Thank you for your time!

Hard to say without any configuration details and further info;
Could it be your firewall settings?
Could it be that you have to specify the domain name with your credentials?
