Audit toolbar operation

Running Excel 2003 SP3 on XP Pro.

I’m using a function that calculates properly, but when I use the Evaluate
Formula feature on the Formula Auditing Toolbar to follow the calculation, I
get a #NAME? error in the evaluation dialog. I’ve been able to reduce my
actual formula to a simple test case:

=WEEKNUM(A1)-WEEKNUM(B1)

I have Analysis ToolPak installed and A1 and B1 are legitimate dates. I get
the #NAME? error on evaluation of the first WEEKNUM function, but if I
replace it with a numeric value, the second WEEKNUM function evaluates with
no problem. If I replace just the second WEEKNUM function with a numeric
value, the first WEEKNUM function then evaluates with no error. Does this
make sense to anybody?
