Audio trouble with screensavers

I cant seem to get any sound to work on my screensavers..all my other sounds
like the cursers/media/everything else is fine..but no sound on
screensavers..even though the "enable sound" is checked in the settings box.
They worked fine when I had win98 but I recently switched to win2002prof.
Anyone have any clue as to how to fix this?
