Can't get sound on any user account except mine. I am the only
administrator. I am running XP Home ed. I just got installed a new hard
drive and motherboard. It worked fine before that.

Hi Kellyc,

Check to if the sound drivers are installed in the first place, go to device
manager, look for the "Sound video and game controllers" category and ensure
there are no conflicts.
